98 Dragon Bites of Mad Monket Kung-Fu Movie Poster
A contest piece for EPIC MOVIE CONTEST II [link]


With this poster I tried for an older style, like the Kung-Fu posters from the 70s. The layout of the credits and the use of some logos at the bottom are an attempt to replicate the layout styles from those posters at the height of Bruce Lee's fame. The main purpose of this poster is to have the puching fist as the dominant feature, with hints of what the original poster looked like (if you want, you can take a look at the original poster here - [link])

A cool concept and I like the poster really much. Having said that, I like the original poster even better. So I must ask: Why didn't you upload the original poster as well and declare both a "series"? :)

Thanks for the feedback. I did consider using the other poster but thought I'd be able to get another couple of posters done for the other films. Then ran out of time. Was up until 3am finishing the Tempus Fugit poster so can only blame sleep deprivation for the bad decision.

Ah, I understand. If I were you, I would have submitted the other poster as well and labelled them as a series. To be fair, I love your full-body render for the Tempus Fugit and would have thought of some poster featuring it in its complete glory instead of going on with further posters. Oh well, nothing we can do about that now, right? :)
Nevertheless, impressive entries!
