Here's the next in the Star Wars boxing poster series (I guess now there's three it can be called a series). Previous design are Brouha on Mustafar ([link]) and Death Spar ([link])
This one is a lot different to the others. The layout is closer to the earlier fight posters of the 30s/40s with just head shots of the fighters. Plus, there's no catchy title like the other two (not a lot rhymes with Bespin). Also I've used the style of the boxers having nicknames, something that didn't seem to be used as much beyond the 60s.
As with my other Star Wars artwork, this piece is not available as a print.
Do you provide or sell these in native format (Photoshop preferably)? I would really LOVE to use the style and background (weathered paper) styles for some boxing promo images I'm trying to design (sans the Star Wars images/content). Available?
Hilarious concept and great execution. Do want that hanging on my wall I wouldn't like to annoy you with a print request but I hope you'll change your mind and make it available.
Hi there. If I could get these out as prints, I definitely would. However I'm restricted by heavy copyright. I've been trying to get licensing from LucasFilm since the end of last year and I'm no further forward. I'll keep on trying but at the moment it doesn't look likely. Sorry.
Oh, I see. More complicated than I thought. This is completely insane. You couldn't do any harm to them, on the contrary - the prints could contribute to their popularity (even though it's rather hard to make Star Wars even more popular). Strange world, makes me sad..

The worn paper backdrops are available free from *Bashcorpo - [link]
A lot of the added worn grunge effects are achieved with Photoshop brushes. There's a good selection here - [link]
Hope that helps
