Alternative promotional poster for Park Chan-Wook's modern classic, Oldboy. The main graphic uses silhouettes to simulate the acclaimed scene when the main character, Oh Dae-Su, takes on a corridor full of heavies armed only with a hammer.
Nice work! I can't decide whether I like that the silhouettes should also be the same shade of black as the rest of the poster (since, you'd lose the legs of a few of the characters that way into the blackness) or as it is
But all the same very nicely done. Once again I'm curious about the fonts you used - "Oldboy" is in which font? The credits I suppose are in Akzidenz Grotesk...

This is a really excellent poster! I hope you don't mind me saying but there is one thing that throws the eye. The silhouettes are a slightly different tone of black from the main body of the poster. But that's a seriously great piece of work. Instant fave!
Thanks very much for the feedback. You know, I hadn't noticed the blacks before now, and I've looked at it so many times. A schoolboy error when exporting from Freehand to Photoshop! I'll need to sort that out. Cheers again for the generous comments!
Thank you very much. I love the film - it's one of my favourites - and I was knocked out when I first saw this scene. I had to do something to show my appreciation. Glad you like it and thanks for the feedback!
